Ordering process

Can I complete orders as a guest?

Yes, you can order products as a guest without creating an account beforehand. There is also the option to start shopping as a guest and create your own account during the ordering process later on.

How can I use a coupon code?

You can simply redeem a coupon or voucher code during the ordering process. The option is offered while you are in the shopping cart. Simply enter your code into the corresponding box. The appropriate amount will be substracted automatically.

When have I secured an article for myself?

Due to our products not being new goods, each piece is generally only available once. Therefore the rule: First come, first serve! You can secure a desired article only upon completing the order entirely. Unfortunately this isn’t possible otherwise.

Payment process

Which payment options are possible?

Our goods can only be payed for in advance (prepayment). This can be done via PayPal or bank transfer. After receiving the payment, your articles can be shipped or can get picked up.

How can I pay via bank transfer?

If you have selected payment via transfer (German: ‘Zahlung per Vorkasse / Banküberweisung’ ), you’ll receive an Email containing our credit transfer data after placing your order. As soon as the transfer is completed, your articles can be shipped or get picked up.

How can I pay via PayPal?

You can create your free account via www.paypal.com or the PayPal app. It will create a direct link to your bank account and can be used to quickly and safely complete online payments.

I have completed an order. What happens next?

After completing your order, you’ll receive an order confirmation via Email. It includes all further information regarding payment and shipping.

How can I get my invoice/bill?

You’ll receive your invoice/bill automatically after completing your order. If you should need it again later or have accidentally deleted it, just contact me via post@moebelwachsmann.com.

Are taxes disclosed on the invoice?

As many of our articles are used goods, differential taxation applies (§25a UStG). The value added tax (VAT) is not accounted in this case. All other articles show the VAT on the invoice.

Shipping process

Which shipping methods are provided?

We send packages via GLS and DHL. Furthermore we deliver to Nuremberg and surrounding areas ourself and to all of Germany via forwarding agent. During the ordering process you can also choose to pick up your products in Nuremberg yourself.

How does shipping work?

As soon as we have received the payment, we will prepare your order for shipping. The delivery can take up to seven work days, because we ship only once a week. All our deliveries are insured.

How and where can I pick up my goods?

Most of our goods are stored in our shop in Albrecht-Dürer-Str. 10 & 13, 90403 Nuremberg. Our usual opening hours are from Wednesday to Saturday from 1 p.m to 6 p.m. Please come by to pick up your goods within 10 work days after purchase or inform us via Email if you can’t make it in time or during our opening hours. If your articles happen to be stored in one of our storage spaces instead, we’ll inform you after your purchase and contact you to arrange an appointment for the collection.

How do you deliver to Nuremberg and surrounding areas?

The cost for delivery in Nuremberg and surrounding areas is initially indicated as 0,00 € in the online shop. After completing your order you’ll receive further information concerning the cost of delivery. The additional cost depends on transport distance and size of the delivery. For example: The delivery of a table lamp might costs 5,- € to Nuremberg, 7,- € to Fürth and 10,- € to Erlangen. The delivery of a kitchen sideboard to Erlangen may cost 40,- €. We usually deliver within nine work days.

How does delivery via forwarding agent to all of Germany work?

The cost for delivery via forwarding agent is initially indicated as 0,00 € in the online shop. After you have completed an order, we’ll request the exact cost for the delivery directly from the forwarding company. All further information about payment is communicated via Email.
The haulage cost for a small couch table might amount to 50-100 €, depending on delivery distance. In case you ordered multiple articles, some of which would usually be shipped to you via package, these can of course be added to the haulage delivery. The shipping cost will be refunded in case you have payed via paypal beforehand. Delivery time depends on the driver’s route planning. Nevertheless your delivery should make its way to you within a maximum of 3-4 weeks.

Do you deliver orders to outside of Germany?

At the moment we don’t offer this option in our online store on a regular basis. Nevertheless packaged shipping to abroad may be possible. In case you’re interested, please request the conditions prior to buying by sending us an Email to post@moebelwachsmann.com. Delivery by haulage is limited to Germany at the moment. If you can organize a driver yourself, we will gladly arrange a collection.

Return and Complaint

What to do if I don’t want to keep my goods?

The purchase can be cancelled within 14 days of receipt of the goods without giving reasons (-> §13 BGB). If you want to return your article(s) please contact us via Email to post@moebelwachsmann.com including your name and phone number. We will get in touch with you soon after! Please consider that cost for return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. All legal information can be found in our rights of revocation.

What to do if my package doesn’t arrive?

Usually a package should reach you within one to three days from the date of shipping. In our experience delivery times may vary from case to case. Depending on the provider and current events, shipping may take up to three weeks, so please remain patient. If the delivery is taking extraordinarily long, please don’t hesitate to contact us via Email to post@moebelwachsmann.com.

What to do if my goods are damaged?

Please consider that small defects and traces of usage and wear are simply part of vintage objects! We are always careful and cautious to describe notable defects and damages and show them accurately in the pictures. If an object has been damaged through the process of shipping, please contact us and we will find a solution. (post@moebelwachsmann.com).

What to do if my order is incomplete or if I received wrong items?

In case we accidentally sent the wrong article or forgot one or more items of your order, contact us via Email. We’ll pack and send the missing articles as soon as possible or exchange the wrong articles via postal service. (post@moebelwachsmann.com)
